I’ve been watching your videos throughout the weekend. Great content! I’m getting a Concept 2 and I want to make sure I train correctly. I can’t wait to begin.
I bought a Concept 2 for cross training between runs. I love your videos so I bought your ebook. Can you recommend a podcast? I have a long commute to work and I am having a difficult time finding a rowing podcast. I want to learn as much as I can, as I am newbie and I am trying to teach myself. I love my Concept 2 and you're videos kept me from giving up as rowing did not come intuitively for me. Thank you, keep publishing!
Please please please make a FOLLOW-ALONG for this video, cause I think it's is one of the best for beginners. As it helps build confidence and a good way of judging stamina increase. It would be a great way to sum up some of the important Disciplines from your other videos. Form and Breathing with a solid SPM.
Today only rowed only 1km because i used the elliptical machine for 30 minutes. So, i had no stamina to row more. First, race i completed in 2.44 mins, 2nd race in 2.52mins.
for not only a beginner on the rowing machine but to daily work outs in general im thinking at first before i start doing any HIIT routines what im doing this first week is just rowing at moderate pace focusing on the movements and proper form ill row for 45 minutes just concentrating on doing it right. i feel like long term this will be better then jumping into HIIT which is my ultimate goal woudl you guys agree or not i'm thinking maybe 3 weeks to a month just get the aerobic mostly and cardio from doing it for a while while practicing the skill and focus part..how did you guys first start besides watching a million videos?
I just tried the rowing machine for the first time today & it seemed kind of easy lol I’m assuming I didn’t do something right. Tried it for 10 mins at an intensity rate of 11? Not sure what it meant but it was on the machine. Maybe I’ll try this next time.
I’m doing rowing from a month now . Now I do 30 strokes per minute . Is it good or I should improve? Daily I do 1000 strokes in 40 min . I’m aiming to lose weight. I don’t sweat much unless I’m running . Same with rowing I don’t sweat much . What should I do more for more efficient results .i have not lost much weight. Also as other says I don’t feel much hard work doing it but I love love this machine
I am struggling to understand the mechanics and resistance still, could anyone clarify? I get that the power output is not directly related to strokes per minute. But after doing this as someone who never done rowing before I noticed my split per 500m was just under 3minutes. This man has like 1min45secs in the video, does that mean his legdrive is that much stronger or where does that powerdifference come from? It's at the same rows per minute (20)
At CrossFit when we did intervals on the rower it was 20 seconds max effort 40 seconds off rest or 30 seconds of work 30 seconds of rest depending on the duration of the workout.
Austin, I am doing a HIIT rowing workout of 2 mins on and 1 off. About 30 to 31 strokes per min pace. I do five rounds and about 2250 meters. What do you think? Steve

Form and Breathing with a solid SPM.
At what resistance would that be on? Or does it not matter. Great video ..
I learned how to do it with Unflexal page. I think unflexal's guide is the best way to be salubrious.
how long of a warmup should be done before starting the interval workout?
You should keep the chain horizontal

You talk to much! 👎🏼
I do 10k meters every two days. Got it down to 42 mins today, 8 resistance. I want to get to 10k in 38 mins. I love it !
Not going to lie haven’t seen this and I know 100% it’s going to make my back sore since I only use dumbbells for it and nothing like a fast cardio
this guy loves to move his hands about
Too much talk

You talk shit
20 /m seems really low, I was doing 39 and felt I could do more. This is why I stick to treadmill and HIIT workouts
OR you could just Row
