I enjoyed Kaepernick giving the middle finger to the NFL this weekend. I don't think anyone could deny that the NFL is used as a national billboard for the 'supporting the troops' chicken hawk political agenda. They endlessly glorify militarism and have pregame shows from aircraft carriers, wear camouflage apparel during games, cut to troops watching the games from occupied foreign countries, and basically never stop shoving this political agenda down our throats at every opportunity.
In the old days, it was: "Would you like a little military fascism with your football?" But NOW it's like: "Would you like a little football with your military fascism?" Seriously…the game is just a candy coating for brainwashing the masses to mindlessly support the chicken hawks and their endless greed and violence against Mankind anywhere on this planet where imperial militarism can make some money and enslave some natives.
Kaepernick would never question the military or include them in his protest because he knows that would blacklist him from ever playing in a league that has been assigned the role of a candy-coated billboard for elitist, chicken hawk politics. But Kaepernick correctly pointed out that police are really government employees and the claim that they cannot be criticized is equivalent to the claim that the government cannot be criticized.
This is the true purpose of the NFL and it's marriage to the mindless military support concept…the league has been used to progressively brainwash the masses who watch the games into accepting the concept of never questioning the wars or the brutality of imperial expansion by making it an unacceptable attack on the troops.I'm explaining that the NFL should keep politics out of football and let fans do their own thinking. I even carefully watched every play in last year's Super Bowl…non-calls where penalties occurred benefited the Patriots 3 to 1 with the Rams avoiding a flag four times while the Patriots went unflagged a walloping 12 times for uncalled penalties. Rams were also hit with two or three phantom penalty calls (where the flag was thrown but no penalty occurred) while Patriots were never penalized in this fashion. Rams coach inexplicably withheld the team's most impactful player (Gurley) for most of the game – even though he was effective when he played.
*Patriot dynasty suspiciously incapable of blowing-out any of their Super Bowl opponents – even though every other dynastic team was capable of doing this. This is because Refs and Moles cannot help the Patriots too much in the Super Bowl without arousing suspicion. Yet they think an NFL team can dominate other NFL teams to this degree when the talent is comparable and both teams have supreme athletes?
