  1. Not my favorite format. It's a decent workout, yet I don't come to GCN for indoor cycling/spinning workouts. For me, GCN is most valuable when it sticks to road cycling training. Spinning is fun but it doesn't really translate to improve road skills. The instructor is fun and engaging despite talking too much for my taste. Glad others seem to enjoy it more than I did. I will stick with road trainings from now on.

  2. Hm, this doesn't seem like conventional HIIT to me. My HIIT routine on my bike is a 4 minute warmup, then I do about 12 intervals in terms of high intensity: 30-40 seconds, then one minute cooldowns. Back and forth 12 times, then a 4 minute cooldown. Takes 25 minutes total and I use a timer app on my phone to tell me when to switch. My understanding was the max effort is really only supposed to be done in 30-45 second bursts.
