Thank you! I was 300 lbs. My friend was 170lbs we started a diet plan each took 500 calories off our normal eatting. Walked 5miles a day in the mornings. And drinking 1 gallon of water a day. I lost on average 2- 3lbs a week. And she was losing about 1/2 a lb a week. She was mad frustrated thought i was cheating and cutting more calories or doing something else. What she disnt understand was my body used more activity than hers for the exercise we did plus i had way more weight to lose! Im so glad someone explained this!
Wow just wow. Thank you so so much for making this video!!! It has taken me 1.5 years to lose 13 lbs and i used to obsess over why i wasnt losing 1-2 lbs a week and i finally recently realized that in the long run, ive been on the right trajectory and need to ignore all the misinformation on the internet. To hear this coming from you makes me feel even more confident!!
This is shocking! 😱 I had no idea that you couldn't lose 2 lbs of fat in a week. I thought that was normal. But seeing an actual representation of how much 1lbs of fat is made it all make sense. 1lb of fat is actually a lot, even though we normally don't think of it as a lot, so I think it makes sense how losing that much in a week is unrealistic. Thanks for the video!
Hi, I have a question for you. My husband started a Keto diet 2 months ago. His cholesterol is up and the doctor wants him to stop Keto. These are the blood tests taken 3 different dates: 19 January 2018. TOTAL CHOLESTEROL 6.6. TRIGLYCERADES 3.4 HDL 1.07. LDL 3.54 TOTAL HDL RATIO. 6.2 13 August 2018. TOTAL CHOLESTEROL 6.3. TRIGLYCERADES 1.7. HDL 1.10. LDL4.08. TOTAL HDL RATIO 5.7 01 July 2019. TOTAL CHOLESTEROL 7.7. TRIGLYCERADES. 1.4. HDL. 1.29. LDL 5.00 TOTAL HDL RATIO 6.0. Is this good or not? What are your thoughts?
I honestly Love your videos so much. You are so informative and I’m able to use you as a reference when I’m talking to my friends about fitness. Plus you are such a breath of fresh air with how honest you are about things. So thank you for always keeping things real.
I've been about 170-175 for a while now after being 190 (college weight) and I can't seem to get over this plateau no matter what I do. I was initially losing about a pound or a little less every week now its like my body cant get smaller no matter how much I switch it up. I'm starting to believe I'm not eating enough even using portion control containers. So now I'm just lost on what to do. The best shape of my life I was about 145/150 and I'd love to get back to my pre-college weight
Thanks for the video ! I’ve been trying to focus on how I’m feeling . I’ve also taken progress pictures and measurements. I’m losing inches and the scale has barely moved so trying not to focus too much on that number .
I exercise 6-7 days a week, sometimes it varies from 30 mins to 120 mins for 6 months. However my weight lost s slow, I lose 2 kg only to put it back few weeks later. I think I eat too much. Too much salads, too much protein, man size portions. I think I need to work on my portion control!
Maybe the title should say how much you can lose in a healthy way. The truth is for women you can potentially lose a maximum of 1 pound in a day and for men they can potentially lose a maximum of 2 pounds a day . This is however not the safest way to lose weight and keep it off. Always consult your doctor. xo
Loved this video bc I related to all you said. My mood depends on what I see on the scale & it’s comforting to hear that sometimes when I feel I’m doing all things right & the scale goes up alil “it’s normal”. I want to get rid of my scale😆
Age is a factor too. When I was 25 I dropped 20 lbs in a month by cutting soda out of my diet, but 10 years later it's much harder to drop weight like that and much slower.
I am not expert at weight loss so I need help here. I have been doing your workout plan for a month and dropped from size 10/lg to 6/md but the scale says I went from 156 lbs to 153 lbs. What is happening? TIA
FYI love rewatching your videos because I learn so much each time!!
Simply curious.. is losing water weight / bowel movement factored into this fat weight lost?
Love your video by the way .. thank you so much for the Inspo & education !!

What kind of advice can you offer for men over 50? Thanks for such great videos

If I were given nothing but water and electrolytes for a month I could probably drop weight QUICK
