I think James can`t pedal at 60 revs/minute! His legs seem to be on autopilot @100/minute. Ha ha, I like the low cadence pedalling but when it got to 110 revs at the end, I nearly fell off the rollers, I was that mullered!!
Yes yes yes. The Matt Steven version of this workout was my favorite. I did it all the time as it gave real results and was sad to see Matt’s version was now private. This has made my day that we have a new version of the beat GCN training session they have done. Thanks guys!!!
I like hearing the talking and vocal prompts but I listen to my own music. Would be nice if you produced the videos without background music. Anyone else agree? Thx for the video!
Interesting sat regards the warm down… could have done with it at the start of the warm down…. 🤪 loves and hated this session high cadence is a killer for me!!
Fantastic session. I love Chris, but hard watching him wipe his brow every 12 to 15 seconds, and then analyzing it to see if it is Areo enough!! Must have all the GCN towels in the wash or something…
Great workout thanks Chris, would be even more interesting when you introduce the 'crew' to tell us who they are and why they are there!, except the obvious ones of course!… and for future reference could you make the transitions from each segment more obvious?….
Thank you Chris and the rest of you guys. Another brilliant training video. This will definitely get me through winter. If I'm not asking too much, could you please provide a chart showing the RPE in relation to the Heart Rate Zones. Thank you.
Same comment as below – it would be useful to know what the profile of the session is before we embark on it. A few lines in the description would do. Thanks.
love love love the crushing attention to suffering quality ~~~thank you TRAIN WITH GCN . I hope all of you know our appreciation for your content!

what if at my perceived level I can't reach the cadence level? Will that eventually change?
This is one qaulity work out! Thank you for the work out. Excellent.
Great training!!! I liked a lot 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 and I can do it again 2 or 3 hours again 🤗

This is a remake of a previous video! Love both! up and down the cadence block

Torn meniscus is keeping me from running— this session was just what I needed. Loved it!
More of these 60 min sets. Thanks

Put a microphone on James so we can hear the banter. Wet cap!
I don't have a trainer and I use a roller, is there any different?
Best 1 hour indoor workout I've seen as of late

Melbourne is covered with smoke, so thank you for a great indoor session 👍
Great training. I LOVE the banter between all the riders. 🙂
Fantastic videos! These workouts are so adaptable you can use them for any cardio machines. Love it!
That was brutal! Another great session thx for posting can’t wait for next one
Loved it! Did it outdoors in 10° Abruzzo in January.
One of the most challenging indoor workouts
Thanks,
Great session
I agree…add a write up please

Please add FTP percentages! Then I can build this workout in zwift for myself….
Trying this today. Wish me luck
All done. The last 110 rpm was tough asf!! Legs were so fatigued I could only aim for 100
Hbpm=192, 62min, 650 cal burned. Legs fell off my body. Good training.

So glad you guys re worked this one, was always my favorite rainy day ride
Yup, pretty brutal. How often should I do it? Weekly? (Weakly…)
Thanks for restarting the series! Amazing and painful workout😬😁
