  1. I got very emotional following this today. I feel like I finally have permission, at 58, not to push myself too hard. Thank you!! It was a great workout. I did add a 10 minutes cardio/ab but I knew it was only because it felt good and that I didn't "have to".

  2. Are you a mind reader, Pahla??   🙂  About halfway through this video, I was thinking. "I wonder what video I can do after this one."  And you said, "I know some of you are thinking about what video you're going to do after this one, but this one today is just right by itself."   I'm going to call it an exercise day.  Thank you, once again, for sharing your wisdom.  I'll be thinking of you tomorrow on your 50-mile race.  Best of luck.

  3. This workout was just enough for me! I was surprisingly super sweaty at the end! 😅 you don’t have to be over 50 to enjoy this and get a great workout 💪🏼 I loved the triplet work I didn’t get bored and I could do each rep better the next time. My fav was those jumping jack side kicks 🤸🏻‍♀️ definitely a keeper! Thank you Pahla for a great Thorough Thursday for my Friday workout 😆

  4. Oh my gosh, Pahla, this is an excellent overall workout for body and mind. I am 60 and post menopausal. Some things have evened out now, but the changes and challenges continue. A few years back, I began to recognize that I could not keep up the pace I was at with exercise, so I adjusted. But even now, I feel I can do more and do, but as you said, it takes a different toll on me later. I understood what was occurring, but am so grateful for your simple(and yet, scientific) explanation of what was happening. Now, I don't have to feel guilty about cutting back or giving myself a break!

  5. What a perfect workout today! It is my 46th bday and I feel the changes you are talking about. I have worked out regularly for the past 5 years but am now just noticing I need a few more rest days and a few gentler workouts mixed in. Thank you!

  6. Enjoying the "over 50" workouts. Very frustrated with trying to lose weight lately. I turned 60 in march- trying to lose 10 pounds. I have been tracking calories for 2 months to make sure I am consistent in my eating. Eating around 1300 a day I have done nothing but lose a few pounds and gain a few pounds- pretty much just maintaining this weight. It is depressing when you are doing everything "right". I have always exercised and I do workouts like the one you have here. I am not one to do hard workouts. I think I am trying to fight hormones and am losing.

  7. #1 when you say, "You guys," you remind me of me and sister growing up in San Diego, we always say that
#2 I had health issues in my 30s and started running and doing triathlon at 41 yrs old, so I am late getting going in this area too

  8. I'm well over 50 and have been working out for over 40 years. I enjoyed this workout very much, it was fresh and fun. I added 3 lb hand weights for more challenge and worked up a good sweat! 🙂 Thanks for another winner Pahla. And I love your kitty

  9. i almost didn’t do this one because i’m not yet 50 but i’m so glad i did. it worked my heart, my balance and even my brain in those last few intervals 😂 and i completely agree with you about bringing the intensity down. after breaking my ankle this winter, i brought my high intensity training down to something a lot more moderate, and surprisingly, i’m leaner than i’ve been in years. and i have to say, little Floof’s cameo in back was very welcome 😸

  10. Happy Friday Eve! Woot! Great workout, I am so sweaty. I did feel like adding a bit more so I wore ankle weights and held light hand weights, :). By the end all those arm raises were brutal!
