  2. the most smooth and powerful butterfly movement ever seen.   This video is a great help to me and I watch it over and over, engrave in my head and then practice in the pool. I feel my butterfly go longer than before I watch this video.  Thanks very much for uploading

  3. Firstly, very good and informative video. Thank you very much. Looking forward to such in depth videos for the other 3 strokes, starts and turns.

    You mentioned at 6:48 that a breath is taken while returning the hands forward. However, shouldn't a breath be taken at the end of the pull? This also seems like what the swimmer is doing when the video is played in slow motion.

  4. I like to breath on every stroke. Doing the butterfly stroke requires so much muscle energy that I like to get as much oxygen as possible. I am over 50. I can't hold my breath like the young twenty somethings.

  6. Hi Evgeny and Alexander – thank you for another great video. Yes the dryland exercises are really good and I have improved lots especially in my arm recovery since doing them . I need to add the rocking exercises – i will try but found it difficult. Lots of great advice in this video esp getting the head in first not having a pause before breathing. Your series is the best butterfly on YouTube the web. Also happy Christmas to all your team
