  1. Great job. It seemed that as you tired your leg compression reduced, I.e. near the end of some pieces you almost rowing half slide. Is that just a factor of exhaustion, or are you deliberately doing that to raise the stroke rate? Would you want to maintain full leg compression across all pieces? Thanks.

  2. By coincidence, did 6x500m in the 1x today and that was enough for me 🙂 How does this relate to your 500m max time? Wonder if there's a rule to take say 90% of your max 500m watts and use that for 15 reps?

  3. I’d expect the average for these pieces to be close to your current 2K pace. In the spring I had my novices do 2x6x500m with 2-3 mins rest then we did 2Ks a week later. Most of them scored very close to their averages from the previous week.

  4. This is perfect as a reference because its what I always do.. same distance, same rest time.. although I do 10 reps.
1.40 pace ending on 1.36s for last 2 kills me.. Gobsmacked at your times!

  5. Just did a 500m test this morning for the British record I’m 14 and got 1.24.1 which was 0.1 secs of it hoping to go back later in the year and break it keep doing what ur doing u have really helped me with training and have seen massive progress in the last few weeks 😃
