  1. Hello Michelle have you tried the Dexcom G6? I haven't seen all your vids , is there a big difference between a G5 and the Freestyle Libre? I am looking at getting a G5. Thanks………………

  2. the thing is, it does stick well unless you go to the gym a lot and sweat and take shower like I do, then it starts to fall off after 4 days, but i am gonna try to use 3m tape to apply around the sensor which should make it stick for 14 days easily

  3. Just started using Freestyle Libre and had a sensor fail and the other one fall off after hitting it on the door frame lol so I am looking for Ideas Thank You Grate Videos. I just Started around Two weeks ago April 3 2019

  4. My skin is really sensitive and always itches every time I put on the libre with the Miao Miao, and if I don’t it usually comes off in like three days and it’s 25 bucks per sensor

  5. Thank you found what I was looking for repair tapes great. I've been using a freestyle now for 27 months and love it, been waiting a long time for something like this even better with the miaomiao. Having been type one now for just 46 years it great how things have progressed long may it carry on. cheers

  6. Michelle, If you love the alarms of Dexcom but you love FreeStyle Libre for the convenient price I recommend FreeStyle Libre 2. Its like Dexcom for the alarms but its the same price as FreeStyle Libre!!

  7. What happens if a type1 diabetic makes a baby with another type1 diabetic? Will the baby have type1 or type2 diabetes? Just asking cuz i have type1 and i plan to never have kids because i dont want to curse my kids with diabetes. And so im a recluse every since i became type1. I just wont ever get married or like any girls cuz its selfish of me to curse are kids with my disease. ✌️

  8. I've been using the Freestyle Libre for ~3 months and it's changed my life completely. But it only wants to stay on my skin for less than a week. I'm gonna try out the methods proposed in this video and see if it will stick for longer.

  9. I've been using the Libre since December. One came off after 2 days when I lightly bumped into a piece of furniture. I started wearing a Simpatch dressing over the sense , and things seemed to go well. I cleanse the skin well, do not use lotions or creams, and had another one come off after 12 days while removing my shirt. I was using a Simpatch dressing over this one, but the edges peeled up. I have had two newly applied sensors "fail to sense" right after application. This is very frustrating. When it works, it's great, but well… Overall, not happy so far.

  10. Couple of things… I have VERY sensitive skin. I had the unfortunate experience of having a doctor use Mastasol during a arthroscopic shoulder procedure. Mastasol is used to help the bandages stick… Within 48 hours my skin was literally boiling. You could watch the blisters form and pop in real time. It looked like it was alive. I hope this "adhesive" enhancer you are using isn't a similar product. I knew when I first stated using the Libre system that I could potentially have an adhesive issue. If I even leave a standard Band-Aid on my skin for a couple of days it gets irritated, so I was very apprehensive regarding the type of adhesive they use. I called them regarding this issue and they said they've done studies, just for this purpose but they didn't know what TYPE of adhesive it was. Well… good news, after 2 weeks zero skin reaction. Not even any redness. Now, since I saw that a lot of people use tape to backup the sensor adhesive and to secure bluetooth transmitters to their Libre sensor, I knew I needed to find a good tape that won't irritate my skin. I settled on a 3M tape product called Medipore-H. It works very well… super sticky and water doesn't seem to affect it. After two weeks it was fraying a little around the edges but there was no way it was coming off by itself. So… if you have sensitive skin, give it a try. You can get it on Amazon. The 2" wide by 10 yds. long version is perfect.
