Coming from lifting mostly for strength with weights, I'm trying to go more for the calisthenics side, but am curious on one matter. For mostly strength, should I just keep repping out a given exercise till I start to fatigue, or what else?
Is it okay to only do basic body weight training and progress by adding weights? Like weighted push ups, pull ups, chin ups and dips? No muscle ups, clapping push ups and other fancy exercises?

I've been doing pushups everyday for 23 years. I miss a day here or there, but it's an awesome habit.
