This documentary got me choked up on a couple occasions. In the late 90s Love was a second home during the summers and weekends. Yes I was from the burbs in South Jersey and had to hop the train to get in to the city, but Philly was my second home. The Sub Zero team was the shit. Shit in the early 90s I got my first deck at Sub Zero when they opened up in the basement of a shoe store in Pennsauken NJ. Chris's story brought back so many memories. I too grew up without a dad at home and would stare at Woodward brochures. Something my mom could never afford. So when I saw what Chris was doing for these kids, the waterfalls snuck up on me. I'm a year shy of 40 years old and this entire doc hit me in the feels. And thank you so much for reppin Turmoil in this jawn. Respect
I absolutely love to see people giving back to skateboarding, giving kids opportunities and just spreading positivity in general.
What's the song in the credits please?
