  1. Lately I’ve been remembering how important it is to give my mind a break and prioritize listening and responding to my body… and my heart.
And the real magic is, it doesn't take much.
    Just take five.

  2. This was the perfect tiny practice to get me back on my mat after weeks (maybe even months…) off the math. For some reason I was so scared to get back on, even though I KNOW it will make me feel better. This was lovely, thank you so much for guiding me through this and I'll try to step back on tomorrow.

  3. Anyone have any tips for obtaining motivation for incorporating yoga in everyday life? I'm 200 pounds 6ft tall. Rarely do I excercise or drink water. I mostly drink tea, coffee, and energy drinks (cutting down on that). I quit smoking cigarettes about 2 years ago (10 year habit). My therapist recommended yoga for anxiety and depression, however I can't seem to appreciate it for some reason. I love jazz, art, coffee, nature, and I want to improve myself. I want to love yoga but I've been stuck for years.. help

  4. Doing yoga with pets is such a wonderful experience! I did it with my pet monkey and you with Benji. Namaste to you and your wonderful assistant Benji!

  5. Second comment: same statement. I study in 45 min increments, then take 15-20 min break depending on the subject and it’s the BEST for that late night study session when you need to get your body to agree with your mind and let you focus!

  6. I was on the verge of a mental breakdown at work. There is so much to do and not time to do it at all! With ADHD my brain runs wild… then I prayed and figured someone on YouTube would have a 5 minute “get centered and get moving” video. Well, here I am!
Thank you so much for doing this. I feel so much better and I am ready to get back into this inbox…

  7. This really helped, Thank you Adriene. You’re so helpful, especially with this quick practice when you don’t feel like doing Yoga but really need it! I’m sure I’m not the only one who this you’re amazing! I’m very greatful for this practice and time. Namaste, have a wonderful day.
