I’m from the Netherlands and when too Minnesota State University in Mankato for my study. Lived there for 5 months! I totally understand what you say about being abroad changed you. This quote came to me when I got home:
‘For others it’s just 5 months in a lifetime, but for me it was a lifetime in 5 months.’
Other won’t get it unless you’ve experienced studying abroad! If you have the change, take it. Do it!
