Awesome. I’m a beginner so let me ask a dumb question. Are the warm ups at a high, slower gear to 70rpm and the 30 second blitzes at a low, faster gear to 100rpm? Thank you
Yep, enjoyed that. I'm an aspiring masters powerlifter and the program I'm following calls for 3 mandatory conditioning sessions a week, this fits the bill nicely for one of those.
Big thumbs up guys. Great efforts. My first winter on a turbo. I'm a commuter/sunny weekender but this will keep me going until I'm back on it March! Cheers and can't wait to catch the other training vids 👍👍👍
I ❤️GCN Training. Great workout. Thank you to everyone in the video. I have a question about effort. Is effort related to heart rate? Do the effort percentages coincide with heart rate percentage? For example, is an effort level of 5 the same as 50% of your heart rate maximum? Thanks.
How do you connect your smart trainer (tacx neo) so that you can do the session and see cadence and power from android phone. Currently, I follow with the phone just using youtube, but can't see any readings.
Awesome session. Found on YouTube looking for indoor cycle training as its winter in New England and can’t ride outside. Got new liquid trainer for Christmas and this was a great workout. Thanks so much. Mike
Can we please somehow get an overview (perhaps written text in the description would suffice) of the workouts? This would be useful as to know what to expect and how to better prepare. Excellent follow through workouts! Thanks 🙂
The warm up and rest are supposed to be at 70 RPM, but the music is too fast beat, and everybody tends to go with the music beat. Suggest you change to appropriate music for the effort.
I love these workouts. I use them both to recreate on Zwift and for my workout sessions I use in the Navy as I have 20-30 minutes on a bike when I lead others in a workout. Perfect, really.
I am visiting a resort and need a workout to balance all the cocktails and dining out! I plan to do this in the AM. I have access to a gym stationary bikes or spin bikes….can I do this on a spin bike? Thx
Thank you so much for saving me during these dreadful bushfires here in NSW Australia. Unable to get out to ride because of smoke hazard these awesome workouts are keeping me fit and sane!!!

Medium effort ride, music wasn't great, I needed something with a stronger harder beat to drive me on, the music on this is bit wish you washy.
I swear there woz a workout JUST like this one. Like it woz exactly the same. But with simon running it
Thanks for making the winter training so much more enjoyable!
Love all the workouts. Back at it from back surgery. Doctors say not allowed to hit the road yet. Haha sonindoor it is
Yeah!! I took a break from GCN because I had done all the workouts I could find, ready for some new sweet rides and inspiration!!!!!
I usually do this before weight lifting

Perfect for beginners as myself

NYE RESOLUTION FOR 2020

Awesome session. Found on YouTube looking for indoor cycle training as its winter in New England and can’t ride outside. Got new liquid trainer for Christmas and this was a great workout. Thanks so much. Mike
Great workout for those that are strapped for time. Intervals are timed correctly.
I got a spin bike for christmas and tried this workout today and boy oh boy did i sweat but hell i feel good !!!!
Sorry but 2m30s is too long a rest period for only a 30s effort. Rest 1m or 1m30s at most.
Doing it on rollers , got 8.42miles. last time
I’m afraid the original video with Si was much better. I had to turn the sound off on this after the first interval.
Sorry James!
Guys love every single one of you and your channels and videos. THANK YOU!!!!
Welcome to the GCN sweat dungeon! And today I going to teach these naughty boys and girls the meaning of effort!!!
James has great charisma and the most empathy of all GCN presenters. nice seeing this shine through more than ever
Can we please somehow get an overview (perhaps written text in the description would suffice) of the workouts? This would be useful as to know what to expect and how to better prepare. Excellent follow through workouts! Thanks 🙂
‘If they catch us they will rape us!’
Where is the GCN head bands for soaking up all those ounces of sweat. Too "karate kid"?
Wow…all those Wahoo bikes! Sweet! Good session as well…thanks!

Emily is a dish 🙂

So cool how cute are the girls. All did really well
A good remake of Si's session from a couple of years ago.
Great work, as usual. Thanks!

Seriously?
Loved it
How many km/hr is 70 RPM?
James, where is the hat! "The sign of a good workout is a sweat filled hat!"
Loved the workout. Great job! Looking forward to many more.
Now that was epic!
