  1. Clearly you don’t know about boxing. Weight classes are there for a reason. Just because a person fights at 135. That’s not their weight when they walk in the ring. They hydrate up right after that. So if I walk around at 152-154. I would would fight at 130-135. Cut the weight before the fight. Then ballon back up. Boxer don’t fight where they walk around at.

  2. If you pay close attention many boxers show up to weigh-ins depleted and flat. But when fight time comes, they put on about 10 lbs and it can definitely help in the ring.

Personally, I think it's best for a fighter to maintain a certain weight throughout so they don't have to make weight.

But as you said, it's mainly water weight that they are losing if they didn't initially make weight (which they know they won't).

  3. The crazy thing about Boxing & MMA weigh ins is that they do it the day before a fight. Tank has to make 135lbs at the weigh in, but he has 24 hrs to rehydrate for the fight. So he will be anywhere from 145-150lbs in the ring tonight.

  4. Yeah Jay, I think you will have lose a little bit of muscles to throw them punches correctly 😅… Tank doesn't stay in shape between fights. That's why he's always missing weight.
