  1. Muslims are encouraged, although not obliged, to fast days throughout the year: the ninth and tenth, or tenth and eleventh of Muharram, the first month of the year. The tenth day, called Ashurah, is also a fast day for the Jews (Yom Kippur), and Allah commanded the Muslims to fast.[19] such as:

any 6 days in the lunar or "Islamic" month of Shawwal (the month after Ramadan (Hijri)
Fasting on Mondays and Thursdays is desirable if possible.[20]
the 13th, 14th, and 15th day of each lunar month (Hijri)
the Day of Arafah (9th of Dhu'I-Hijja in the Islamic (Hijri) calendar)
As often as possible in the months of Rajab and Sha'aban before Ramadan
First 9 days of Dhu'I-Hijja in the lunar (Islamic) calendar (but not for any who are performing Hajj (the pilgrimage).

If only people knew how amazing fasting is, as Muslims we’re looking down because we fast from sun rise to sunset but now people are actually encouraging to fast.

  3. For me it was almost impossible to lose weight eating three or more times a day. Even when I did sports like crazy but still I just couldn’t get leaner. When I discovered intermittent fasting I saw miracles happen with my body! I feel so good, I lose weight, get leaner and yes I eat my favorite food. Junk food very rarely. And sugar minimally. Abd I dont feel hungry anymore as I felt before. It was terrible how I could just binge eat often but now I dont need to do it!! For me it’s the only thing what works!

  4. Hey, I’ve been doing Keto and I have lost a lot of weight and now I started going to the gym to build muscle and I have decided to start doing IF after watching your video. My questions is, while fasting, can I still put butter, MCT, SFV syrup and heavy cream in my coffee? Thanks.

  5. my only problem is how to survive the hunger pains after an work out while fasting…. it makes it hard to sleep when you're starving in the middle of the night

  6. I've been doing 20:4 IF (warrior) and omg the benefits are amazing, even though I get a 4 hour window to eat all my calories (I followed a caloric deficit of 1200) I get full on my first meal and most of the time I don't finish my calories which I know is not that good but I can't force myself into eating it will make me sick. I've dropped 22 lbs within a 3 month window, I stopped drinking coffee and I only drink water and green tea during my fasting. I was 196 I'm 5'0 so that for me is obese now I'm at 174. IF works and your body gets used to it.

  7. I have been doing intermittent fasting for 2 months and lost 20 pounds. I am reaching a weight which I think I like to keep. To be able to keep around that weight, should I continue to do 1 or 2 days intermittent fasting a week? What is the best approach to this?

  8. I do Omad every other day and I’m on keto. I also work out before eating anything. I’ve lost 72 lbs in 4 months. But I’ve been gaining and I’m doing the exact same thing. Idk what is happening.

  9. I actually knew all this information from watching many YouTube videos and you managed to explain everything in 1 video. Easily the best IF video that I’ve watched. Great job, “Thank you Carlo”
