  1. Hello..
I have learned more from this fine doctor than I learned in years. And I have always been pro-health.
It took me a couple months to actually “ change” my mind from all the diets.. and info I was used to about food sciences etc, I am 66 today, and except for stopping smoking in 1999… Intermittent fasting is my lifestyle forever now.
I am fit as hell, don’t look my age,
and it regulates my weight perfectly. I am 5’2” and 106.
I fast 18, 20+ EVERYDAY. Now I’m going Keto too. Health is. Wonderful thing. I never want to be without it👍🏻

  2. I do IF, have been for over a year. I do it 5 days per week for 16-18 hrs. However if I try a longer fast, as soon as it gets to be over 22 hrs, I start to get a head ache and swollen throat, even though I do drink mineral water during.

  3. So I have diabetes (type II) which is well controlled with diet and exercise. I get about a 109 to a 120 on average. However, when I fast, I notice my blood sugar goes up quite a bit. To about 140 – 160.

I was doing two light meals a day then no eating form 6pm to noon. This left me feeling full and just fine. However, my sugars would eventually start creeping up until I started eating 4 or even 5 light meals a day.

I am usually eating Eggs and some meat (steak, porkchop, etc). Not sure what I am missing here, or if I just did too much too quickly.

  4. I want to fast for the health benefits but what if you’re lean with chronic low Bp? I’m 95% carnivore keto (black coffee, fatty meats, avocados + minerals). Female, 55, 110lbs, 90/65 pb, don’t gym but always on the go. I fast 21 hours naturally but never tried beyond that.

  5. Hi Dr. Berry, I love all of your "bright ideas", thank you for posting them! I have learned so much from your videos. I also really appreciate that you provide the links to the artistic you are referring to. I love reading primary source or not so primary source information. I hope you do not mind, but I forward your links to my viewers when I am asked a question that you are far better qualified and much more expertise in. This fasting video was very clearly explained. Thank you. CHeers

  6. Hi Dr. Berry, thank u for all ur videos… I've been doing intermittent fasting and prolong fasting for 4 months now but i always have this severe diarrhea after breaking my fast…what must be wrong?… Thank u in advance for ur reply…

  7. I was on I.F. and keto about 2.5 years ago, went from 248 to 218 lbs, now back up to 230 after falling back to my old eating habits, I hate it, last night I decided to get back on track so today about 530 finish a 22 hr fast, no sugars, no carbs had dinner about 7 and I feel good. well…. wish everyone the best .

  8. Check out Snake Diet. I just completed 142 hour fast. Although I fast regularly so this was easy breezy for me. At least try to do 72’s However, any amount of fasting u accomplish is amazing 🙂

  9. After about a month on OMAD (23 hr fast daily), I did a 47 hr fast just 2 days ago. Honestly, the hardest thing about it was not the hunger, which was very little, but the habit of eating at 6 pm as soon do every day. Once 7 pm came, it was all back to normal.
When you are fat adapted, your only challenge is the habits that you have created – nothing else.

  10. My 2 cents. Fasting is amazing. About 3-4 years ago, after being told I was pre-diabetic, I began OMAD and lost 55 lbs rather quickly. All of my health numbers improved dramatically and I felt great. THEN, life decided to get in the way and I went back to my old ways of eating, gained about 30 lbs and was in trouble again. Went back to OMAD and sure enough all is becoming well again. My point is, learn to manage STRESS as part of a healthy lifestyle. It REALLY matters. Finally, OMAD or IF is not a temporary fix. It’s a lifestyle change. I’m determined to make that permanent change. Best of luck to all. You CAN do it.

  11. I just finished watching 2 drs see if bulletproof coffee made you fall out of keto. Their results not only proved you don’t stop the fasting proses but the Mcts raised your ketones.
