  1. thanks for your info! I am 172cm tall and now weigh 80kg. Have been keto for 2 months, blood ketones checked but still no weight loss!
Online calculator shows my BMR to be around 1400 kcal. I dont workout much so I have been keeping my calories intake at about 1400 kcal for the past two months with some occasional binges. I have not lost any water weight, the scale and inches are not going down either…what am I doing wrong? macros-wise, I am having under 25g carbs, 80g protein . Please help!

  2. But what if we are eating at too much of a calorie deficit? Many say our metabolism will slow down if we restrict too much. Also systemic inflammation and gut health and age are things to be considered. Sometimes I feel maybe I'm not hitting my protein goal. I also have Hashimotos so that was effecting it too. Maybe I do need to restrict more.

  3. Great video Ally! You’re looking amazing! Would love to know your thoughts/tips/what you eat in maintenance mode. Your channel has been so helpful to me and I appreciate all of your advice! PS congratulations on the engagement! So happy for you and The Muscle! ❤️😄

  4. I prefer Lose it! too. I am neurotic about entering everything that passes my lips. I thought I was the only one using Lose it! Glad to hear I'm not alone. Everyone's on about Carb Counter and I find that one more tedious. I also count calories.

  5. Thank you! I’ve been in a stall and gain too. I’m eating Keto but over eating. I need this! Also, you look beautiful and love your wavy hair, makeup, and dress! Red is definitely your color…pretty!

  6. Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos. You have been a big inspiration! I've been following you since February and I'm down 52 lbs. You rawk!

  7. Recommended daily protein is calculated @ .36g by body weight/lbs. Mine is pretty easy to attain @ 54 g/day. Hair still long & thick after hitting my goal of 91 lbs lost 👍.

  8. Hello, Ally! Informative as usual 😊
One of my favorite keto people says, "You can't outrun your fork." I've learned this to mean that we can't eat unlimited on this WOE. Thank you for being proof!

  9. I wanted to thank you for all of your inspiring videos. You have such a fresh take on keto and you don’t lecture. It’s so great and I appreciate your videos. Thank you for sharing with us.

  10. i put on weight for two reasons. i like to eat something while i watch videos, which i do a lot. and my job is very difficult and to survive the stress i gravitate toward sugar

  11. Thanks for this Ally. It’s a common problem as everyone knows. When I stalled out, I found that intermittent fasting (16:8; and 20:4) gave me the kickstart I needed.

  12. Thanks, Ally. I am down 60 pounds over the past year on keto. I have another 60 to go. I find I am at a plateau despite OMAD. I feel cheese may be the culprit so I will cut this out. I was making homemade beef jerky which required a little brown sugar which could have contributed to my stall. I have taken body measurements and find I am an inch down on my chest and waist, so at least I am progressing. I wonder if you could speak on sleep issues on keto. I am averaging 4 hours a night and some nights struggle to sleep at all despite taking CALM and 3 Benadryl plus some CBD oil. Love your vlogs, Ally!🧚‍♀️

  13. What if you're eating 1250 calories a day but you suddenly start gaining weight? I don't think it's a good idea to go lower but the last week I've been steadily going up on the scale. I'm trying to hit protein goals and staying under my 20g net carbs every day. I don't work towards the fat limit and only eat enough to stay full. I weigh everything out on my food scale and log all my food and drinks. Not sure where I'm going wrong right now. I'm 5'4" female. My Macros: 82g protein, 20g net carbs, 93g fat, and 1243 calories (weird number but that's what the calc gave) I've lost 30 lb.. well a bit less since I'm gaining this week. I have 30 more to go.

  14. This video came at the perfect time, I was deciding what to get, non keto style, at McDonald's! I've been on a stall for months after losing 47 lbs. G.j oing into surgery oct 1, wanted to be below 160. Guess what I'm not doing, recording my macros and havnt for months. Ding, ding, ding. Ive been overweight most of my life, except for a few, short lived, weight loss successes. Where did you get your calculator to figure out calorie needs? I believe, a "normal" individual onketo may not need to calculate macros or calories but I dont have a working hunger or full signal so I need an external calculation to help. I will recalculate and begin recording again. Goal, here I come….

  15. Hey Allie, I recently discovered your channel! I've been maintaining my 105 lb weight loss with Keto and IF 1.5 years now. This is one of the top questions I get, too! Great advice – as much as some people hate to track…! Ha. Sometimes they gotta get real with themselves 😉 #KetoOn!
