  1. Weight lifting is good for burning fat faster from what I've been told. I have a shoulder injury my self so lifting any thing to heavy can dislocate my shoulder so its difficult for me to work out my arms as much any more. I tend to do cardio, biking or what ever else.

Keep it up, and after a 6 month period there will be good results.

  2. Awesome video. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

  3. You're going to damage your back with that squat. You're meant to keep it straight.

If you want to do body weight, but are not capable of doing pushups etc get some low weight dumbells like 2.5kg to 5kg and do exercises on those. Progress to heavier dumbells and body weight exercises.

  4. Get some dumbbells bro, two of the same kind, you can do a lot at home with them. Weight training is one of the best things you could do, bodyweight training isn't that good for starters since you don't really have enough strength to actually lift your body around. Keep in mind nutrition is probably even harder than the actual training. Try to diversify your training routine to keep it not boring. Check out AthleanX, that guy is pretty helpful.

  5. You might find that the consistency of going on this kind of journey works its way into other parts of your life and you'll become a more productive person (in your own way) in general. Best of luck!

We're all gonna make it brah

  6. The first bee had a vision. A hive, many times its size was to be created. The hive was to consist of several hundred octagonal rooms within which its brood could be safe. The task was daunting. Such a structure had never before been built and this bee didn't have an architectural degree from Phoenix University Online so its understanding of load balancing wasn't great. Yet the bee persevered and now the hive is the structure most connected to the bees.

  7. Great plan! Motivating yourself to become physically fit the best decision you could possibly make if you're feeling like you need a life change. I struggle with depression sometimes and exercise makes me feel great 100% of the time. Stoked to see where the journey takes you. Remember, the hard part is doing it every day!

  8. Mad respect for showing yourself like that. Here's some advice (I have actual lifting experience): Not bad squat form but you want to don't need to lean forward that much and also you don't have to squat super deep. You want to drive your knees out and stop about when the knee caps are just a tip below hip joint, also, try to keep your back more up right during the movement.Planks will help with push ups, always remember to keep your core tight. Also just do knee push ups until you can do actual push ups. Search push progression.

  9. Bro push-ups are the move, from your baselines in a few weeks you can start doing sets of 10-15, doing 5-10 sets throughout the day, take a rest day every once in a while, few months working hard up from that you’re doing average sets of 50. The chest is very resilient and will learn to recover quickly when worked continuously. Do diff types of push-ups, diamond, V, close hands, wide hands, elevated or declined: push-ups are a way of life.

  10. Leo out of concern for your wrist, I'm a advocate of going to the gym or, at the very least, using weights to track your progress.

I have a back injury from mandatory conscription, and had to let go of my ego lifts and retrain myself on an empty barbell 1 year ago.

A standard push up is about 50-60% of your body weight whereas a empty barbell is about 10-15% of your bodyweight. Using a barbell or anything that you can adjust the weights on (I.e empty watering cans/10 litre jerry cans/fuel cans) so you can fine tune the weight is much more important than the amount of pushups you can do. You will also see incremental improvements in strength which also give your brain more motivation to stay consistent on your long term journey. We all face, setbacks. It is not a race, it is personal growth.

Another benefit of going to the gym is you force yourself to work when you are there. Unconsciously, we assign our home as a source of relaxation, and it can get pretty hard to be motivated. Using a gym, you can psyche yourself up during the drive there and get ready to work when you reach. Otherwise a room dedicated to exercise is just as good. I advise you to keep it separated from all other activities like gaming or sleeping to keep distractions out.

If you need a program, stronglifts 5×5 or ICF 5×5 is a good place to start.

As for direction on the channel, perhaps a meal prep/just chatting stream would work to get your community invested.
(I.e. Louis Rossman and his real estate videos turned his primarily electronic repair channel around because he had an active audience that was captivated by his journey.)

Good luck on your weight loss Leo.

  11. Hey, Leo. So great to see this! I'm sure you can do it!

Some hints, if you wanna take them :- )

For squats, try to focus on having a straight back. This is how a perfect squat looks like: https://i.imgur.com/hzjUdOw.png
I really like the excercises you picked to start, except for the sit-up. Instead, I recommend doing ab-crunches, because with sit-ups, you're losing all muscle tension as soon as you sit.
Also, I recommend you to get some dumbbells. With those, you can excercise the muscles between your shoulder blades (reverse fly is the excercise that I think you should be doing). Excercising these muscles (traps and rhombs) benefit your shoulder posture. And stretch out your chest – use google to find the excercises for this.
Furthermore, maybe check out ATHLEAN-X youtube, he really knows his shit and I learned a lot from him :- )

    Cheers, buddy

  12. Don't get me wrong, I didn't dislike the video for the change of direction but the peeing section. Don't be nasty, don't be another filthyfrank, I didn't sign up for that when clicking on the video.

  13. I recommend you do lunges instead of squats. Much safer for tendons and joints, and i think it develops core better. So you don't need to do separate core exercises if you do this.
See you already hurt yourself trying to do cardio. Don't neglect safety anywhere, always chose safer exercises.
As for cardio, try elliptical next time, when you recover. There are many machines, some are good some bad, see if what you have available works for you.

  14. You should follow scooby1961 on youtube (yes 1961 is his birth year). That is the best no-bullshit fitness advice.
His recent video also should give you a different view of vegan diet.

  15. If somebody told me two years ago that this is what ChiLongQua content is going to be like in 2019 I would not have believed them. Yet here we are. What a time to be alive.
